SWIFT INDUSTRIES
Swift Industries is a bicycle bag company in Seattle, Washington. All of their products are designed and manufactured from a beautiful industrial workplace in the heart of Seattle. Jason and Martina started making bags in 2008 and have since loved navigating slow-growth, bringing in a team of amazing seamstresses, and working long, hard hours to get people travelling by bicycle. They give textile dimension, transforming flat and lifeless materials into tough, functional, beautiful adventure bags.
On a tour down the Pacific Coast ten years ago, they drafted what they thought was their traveller’s edict and has turned out to be the tenets of their working philosophy:
Trust that you’re capable of going the distance
Let the experience fuel your creativity
Have a plan, and plan not to stick with it
Enjoy your encounters with the people you meet along the way
Move steadily and with purpose
Heighten your sense of place
Find inspiration in the little things
Get lost every once in awhile
Be aware of the impact that you make
The Zeitgeist is Swift Industries’ ace roomy and practical bikepacking bag, which fits easily and securely to your saddle or bars with a couple of mini-Voile straps. The generous (expandable) main compartment, side pockets and external webbing/daisy chains/rings are ready to pack for any cycling adventure…
Important Note – you’ll need 20+cm between your handlebars and the top of your tire (front and back) to use the Zeitgeist without a support or rack…
