The Brooks Cambium All-Weather is another step on Brooks’ journey away from traditional leather for mixed-terrain, gravel and adventure cyclists. And…with it comes a super nice, modern aesthetic that’s ready to ride given the naturally flex, superior comfort and maximum durability of a vulcanised rubber & waterproof nylon top.
The Cambium All Weather C17 is made for years of hard riding in an angled riding position, a home on short overnight rides as much as long tours. The new saddle has the same contemporary design of the Brooks Cambium range, but with an all-black look, a move from steel baseplate and cotton canvas fibre top, to injection-moulded fibreglass reinforced nylon and nylon top; all in the name of even greater weatherproofing and durability than the original Cambium…

The Cambium All-Weather is slightly heavier (464g vs 415g) than the original Cambium but with that comes a cheaper price point, given the composite materials, and what Brooks say is an improvement in weatherproofing and durability. This updated fibreglass reinforced back plate still has the same loops for saddle bags and other accessories, as previous Brooks saddles.
The All-Weather comes in both the “standard” and the “carved” model, for increased flexibility.
We managed to get hold of one of the All Weather Cambiums a couple of weeks back, testing it out to great effect in mid-Wales on our Borders Tour last weekend. This new Cambium, alongside the original Cambium and traditional B17 saddle are all available in the Pannier shop now…
